Default A New Solo Monk Build for UW i've been working on...

Well that's a build that is based on the 600 build...
I call it: Retribution 600 Monk

Proffesion: Mo/W

Skills:
Protective Spirit
Spirit Bond
Spell Breaker (e)
Blessed Signet
Frenzy
Baltahzar's Spirit
Retribution
Vital Blessing

Armor: you have to get the lowest armor in the game except the starters one which is 15AC (get it on ascalon city or in monastery)
should be ascetic for extra energy and take a protection prayers head piece.

Attributes:
Divine Favor: 11+1
Protection Prayers: 10+2+1
Smitting Prayers: 10+3

Weapons: Totem Axe or any other weapon with +20% enchants mod and +5 nrg. and i use Wroth's Icon as offhand but mods really not important as long as u got a +12 nrg offhand.

How the build works: just like the 600 monk - use Bal's spirit,Vital Blessing
I took off essence bond and blessed aura for retribution and frezy and you'll do ok without them. use retribution after which will deal 16 dmg to the blades while you aggro (should be 18 but 16 is 33% of the dmg they will deal with protective spirit)
ok recharge your nrg with blessed signet and u should use it too after they gatherd around u and u stuck without nrg (they won't interupt it).
ok before going in activate both spirit and activate sb...run in and try to pop some nightmares out...i managed to pull 9 blades in a row and kill 2 nightmares before the sb ended..but if u having some hard time with it just take one group at a time (will tkae much longer but whatever)...u won't have any problems with nightmares since u got sb on, just wand them as soon as they pops. when sb it out u shouldn't move any farther so u won't encounter another one of those...
ok so thatz the way you'll kill all the blades and nightmares and hopefully get some ectos of it. now comes the problem i wanted to discuss with u guys
after i finish all the blades i need to clear chamber from grasps and they deal 18dmg (with ps), they should deal atleast 60 so ill get healed by spirit bond, so i tryed to use frezy and lose on piece of armor but i still cant get healed.
well if i'll find a solution to this problem it wwill be nice but u can just farm bladed' aatxes i got 20 ectos in something like 16 runs which is not bad.

This build is maybe takes time but it's safe.

.... lol it is like if you have read my mind..
Well i have done a similar build as me/mo with IW and retribution.
It worked great! In the starting room, I took the quest before i had killed the aatxes so it would be faster.

you need to aggro the first group on the left no quest. then, you grab the quest, and run to the second group of aatxes with the graspings following. after all these are dead, you should have the 2 aatxes on the top of the stairs leading to the main chamber, and the 2 aatxes to the right of where you first come in. aggro these 4. once all these are dead, you'll have something like 2 aatxes left and 3-4 graspings. aggro all these, and you can move on to the next room.

Side notes: you don't need frenzy. switch it out for resolve or something. you could probably do smites too if you threw in SV somewhere.

Yup Frenzy is not really needed in this build. Frenzy will not cause Spirit bond to trigger as the frenzy portion of the damage applies after the step that Spirit bond takes place.

How many times must I say this? Frenzy works with Spirit Bond if you cast Frenzy first!

Stop spreading false information!

LOL. Guys can u read this post frst ? It's a problem there getting 60 damage from grasps.
All i can see is ''PRO's'' posts bout how to aggro, how to equip something, that PWN's smits and so on ))) So stop and think.

Thanks for post, xbadboysx. By the way with frenzy u wil not get anouth damage from grasps anyway. May be switch secondary to something else? dunno yet. ill try this nice build, may be figure out something.

Ever notice how these Dual SB monk builds are always poorly typed up originally?

Just an observation.

This is why I like to use a -10 armor 20% enchant weapon I think it helps I know I like it better than +5 energy.

Why would you use Frenzy? Elemental resistance seems better as its Duration is alot better... Also, would this be faster than a 55/SS necro?

This build is not faster than the 55/ss build. The dual Monk SB/Smiter Monk build is much faster than the 55/ss build. With the dual monk build you don't have to worry about the nightmares or the grasps. Just take the quest and have the SB tank hit SB and run in and gather the blades, grasps and whatever pops at the same time and you won't need frenzy or Elemental Resistance. The nightmares kill themselves with the holy wrath and the blades give the needed health. Kill everything in the chamber and the go get some smites. You can gather up every smite you can get and the build will kill all of them. You can't fight the Colds with this build, since they don't attack enough but the smites die quickly.

You don't have to explain to me about the 55/SS uw build, trust me i already know it. GUYS nobody answered my question u all suggest things to improve or saying "nothing new bla bla" read my messege before u reply - I NEED A SOLUTION, how to trigger the spirit bond with the Grasps, the reason i used frenzy is to get more dmg from them - i need to get around 50-70 dmg to get healed (trigger the spirit bond). if u have a suggestion to solve my problem please share it with me and if u don't don't reply about things i didn't asked for..thanks

I'm confused, if your only damage comes from retribution.. doesn't it takes like a LONG time to kill aatxes?

Im asking if its faster than a 55 Necro using SS, not a 55 Monk + SS/SV necro.. Becouse its easy for a 2 man team to be faster than soloing..
